Ayala Land and Make It Makati, in partnership with CAST (Company of Actors in Streamlined Theatre), are set to stage Shakespeare in the Park featuring Twelfth Night at the Ayala Triangle, Makati.

Twelfth Night is a story of love, disguise, and mistaken identity—filled with wit, laughter, and unexpected turns. This abridged version, directed by Nelsito Gomez, features an ensemble cast of theater artists: Teia Contreras, Cholo Ledesma, Jillian Ita-as, Altair Alonso, Cathy Azanza-Dy, Tarek El Tayech, Dean Daniel Rosen, and Rafael Jimenez.

“We are excited to collaborate and partner with CAST PH and talented artists Nelsito Gomez and Sarah Facuri in what we hope to be an annual offering in Makati. As part of our vision, we want to make art accessible to all, integrated into the very fabric of the city,” said Christopher Mohnani, Director of Arts and Culture for Makati Estates. “Through programs like Shakespeare in the Park, we hope to bring meaningful encounters with art to the community and strengthen Makati’s place as the country’s hub for creativity and culture.”

“We’re honored to be collaborating with Mr. Mohnani, Ayala Land, and Make It Makati. Staging dynamic, engaging, and entertaining productions of Shakespeare is part of the core mission of CAST to present world classics in non-intimidating ways”, adds Artistic Director of CAST PH, Nelsito Gomez. “And what an initiative to create a show in the middle of Ayala Triangle for free. Twelfth Night was a title that immediately popped into our heads for its beautiful poetry and absolutely hilarious plot. We also have some of Manila’s best actors working to make sure this event will be an experience that will stay with audiences long after the bows.”

The show runs from October 3 to 5, with performances starting at 5:00 PM. Admission is free.
