Four Elphabas soared to heights never before reached with a broomstick with their electrifying, mesmerizing, and truly magical rendition of a specially-arranged interpretation of the timeless “Defying Gravity”.

Teal Wicks, Caroline Bowman, Jackie Burns and Marcie Dodd gathered at the Gershwin Theatre on Wicked Day to perform the Arts for Autism Arrangement of the song. The special arrangement was used for the Benefit Concert in 2016 by Assaf Gleizner.

Arts for Autism supports Autism Speaks, the world’s leading autism science and advocacy organization. The first ever Arts for Autism Benefit Concert was held in June 2016, and was hosted by The King and I’s Kelli O’Hara.

The performance of Defying Gravity was recorded on Facebook, and was broadcast live in the WICKED The Music Official Fan Page.

Here’s the performance in case you missed it!
