One More Chance, The Musical is based on the motion picture One More Chance (2007) produced by ABS-CBN Film Productions, Inc. PETA’s musical adaptation not only brings Popoy and Basha’s love story to life but also aims to create a more nuanced and expanded experience for audiences. The company says that audiences can expect a richer version that examines various lessons and themes from the vantage point of today’s generation, nearly two decades since the film’s premiere.

Directed by PETA’s Artistic Director, Maribel Legarda, the show is written by Michelle Ngu-Nario, featuring the music of Ben&Ben, which includes hits like Kathang IsipAraw-Araw, Leaves, and Paninidigan Kita, to name a few. Joining them in the creative team are J-mee Katanyag (assistant direction and dramaturgy), Myke Salomon (musical direction and sound design), Michael Barry Que (choreography), Ohm David (production design), Carlo Pagunaling (costume design), David Esguerra (lighting design), and Bene Manaois (projection design).

The cast features Sam Concepcion and CJ Navato, who will alternate in the role of Popoy, and Anna Luna and Nicole Omillo, who will alternate in the role of Basha.

Joining them are Jef Flores and Jay Gonzaga, who will alternate as Mark; and Kiara Takahashi and Sheena Belarmino who will alternate as Tricia. Playing the supporting cast members are Ada Tayao and Rica Laguardia, who will alternate as Krizzy; Poppert Bernadas and Paji Arceo, who will alternate as Kenneth; Via Antonio and Dippy Arceo, who will alternate as Anj; Johnnie Moran as Chinno; and Jon Abella as JP.

Completing the cast are Chez Cuenca and Coleen Paz, who will alternate as Helen/Guia/Roselle; JC Galano and Matthew Barbers, who will alternate as Francis/Mr. Tan; Carla Guevara Laforteza and Neomi Gonzales, who will alternate as Rose/Edith; Raul Montesa and Floyd Tena, who will alternate as Bert/Willie; and Hazel Maranan as Elvie/Mrs. Abellera.
