Now Streaming: VLF’s ‘Labor Room’ is Online
Virgin Labfest’s Labor Room by Maki Dela Rosa is now streaming. This is part of the Cultural Center of the Philippines’ Women’s Month Showcase presenting the creative portrayal of women dealing with women’s issues.
The one-act was first featured as an entry in Cultural Center of the Philippines’ annual theater festival, Virgin Labfest back in 2018.
In a busy labor room where delivering mothers go, three women–one having a child, and two facing losses, form a short and unique friendship built with confidence and genuine concern.
Written by Maki Dela Rosa, the show was directed by Jose Estrella and Issa Manalo Lopez, starring Hariette Damole, Skyzx Labastialla, Sheryll Ceasico, J-Mee Katanyag, Kiki Baenta, Sherry Lara, Opaline Santos, Ina Azarcon-Bolivar, and Eudes Anthony Garcia.
