Musical Theatre Rave by StageDoor Adds Another Night
Due to overwhelming public demand, StageDoor by GMG Productions has announced a second night for its Musical Theatre Rave, titled Musical Theatre Rave: Encore. This event aims to merge the magic of Broadway with a high-energy dance floor, creating the ultimate celebration for theater lovers and offering musical theater fans an unforgettable experience.
Originally set for just one night on October 26, 2024, at the Globe Auditorium, Maybank Performing Arts Theater in BGC, the rave will now extend to a second night on October 27, 2024, at the same venue. In exciting news for younger theater fans, the second night is now open to attendees aged 12 and up, making it a more inclusive event.
Carlos Candal, CEO of GMG Productions, shared his excitement: “The response to this event has been nothing short of phenomenal. We’ve always aimed to create a community where musical theater lovers can feel at home, and seeing how well this rave was received has been incredibly rewarding. Adding a second night was an easy decision—this is a celebration for everyone, and we couldn’t be more excited to bring this unique experience to even more fans.”
Musical Theatre Rave: Encore will feature beats from DJ Daddy A, spinning a mix of Broadway hits, Disney favorites, and musical classics that will keep theater lovers dancing throughout the night. Attendees can also look forward to special live performances, adding another layer of excitement to the event. Fans are encouraged to come dressed as their favorite musical theater characters, with costume and lip-sync contests offering the chance to win exciting prizes.
The second night on October 27 will welcome attendees aged 12 and above, with ticket prices at PHP 1,500 for adults (including two complimentary drinks) and PHP 999 for juniors (no complimentary drinks). A special Family Bundle (2 adults + 2 juniors) will also be available for PHP 4,500.
