Eksena PH returns with LOL: Language of Love, set to be staged at Café Shylo for two nights only on February 27 and 28 at 8 PM.

This newest show features original monologues that explore the many faces of love, from kilig and tenderness to heartbreak and bitterness.

There are eight monologues in total — Kalyeserye by Elle; Isang Sulat Para Sayo by Jeric Guita; Naalala Kita by Aaron Jimenez; Hiraya by Ross Reyes; Ang Tunay na Anyo ng Pag-ibig by Mai Escoto; Hindi Ako Naniniwala sa Pag-ibig and Pico de Loro by Niel Luna; and Nang Minsan by Jhenric Canales.

The pieces will be performed by Eksena PH actors Salmo Nella, Paulito Del Mundo, Krizzia Sayson, Vanessa Alariao, Ry Davine, Jorge, Jocel Fongayao, Milo Lopez, and Gerard de Leon. The production is directed by Rolando Inocencio, Tom Navarro, and Sarina Sasaki.

Tickets are priced at ₱750, inclusive of a free drink. For tickets and more information, visit Eksena PH’s official Facebook and Instagram pages. For inquiries, contact Cy Tiongson at 0939-3134074 on Viber.

The company’s most recent staging was Juan Ekis’ Kapeng Barako Club: Extra Strong, held last November at the same venue and directed by Karl Jingco.
