‘Les Misérables: World Tour Spectacular’ Coming to Manila in January 2026
Cameron Mackintosh, in association with Nick Grace Management and GMG Productions, has just announced that Boublil and Schönberg’s Les Misérables: World Tour Spectacular is coming to Manila in January 2026 at The Theatre at Solaire for a strictly limited engagement.
As Les Misérables approaches its milestone 40th anniversary at London’s Sondheim Theatre, the World Tour Spectacular offers a reimagining of the musical, which has been seen by more than 130 million people worldwide.
Les Misérables: World Tour Spectacular is an expanded version of Les Misérables: The Staged Concert, which played for over 200 performances in the West End. This new production features enhanced set and lighting designs, and boasts a company and crew of over 110—including an international all-star cast and a large ensemble of both Filipino and international musicians performing live on stage. Full casting will be announced soon.
Originally titled Les Misérables: The Arena Spectacular, the show premiered in September 2024 in the UK and Europe and is now continuing its global tour.
“We’re beyond thrilled to bring this monumental show back to Manila—this time in a groundbreaking, never-before-seen format,” says GMG Productions CEO Carlos Candal. “Filipino audiences have always shown an incredible passion for world-class theater, and we know Les Misérables: World Tour Spectacular will be unlike anything they’ve experienced before. It’s an epic reimagining of the world’s greatest musical, and we’re honored to be part of its journey around the world.”
