Lea Salonga, other Broadway Stars, to shine in Miscast 2016

Ever wondered what it would be like to have your favorite Broadway actor perform songs from roles they have never been cast in?

This year, MCC Theater has lined up Broadway’s hottest stars to perform in Miscast, the Broadway show that features theater greats fulfilling our wildest fantasies (which of course really means performing roles we can only imagine them to be in).

Lea Salonga to appear along with other Broadway Performers

Among the notable performers are Beth Behrs from 2 Broke Girls, Megan Hilty (Smash), Aaron Tveit (Les Miserables, and the recently shown TV feature Grease: Live), and our very own Lea Salonga, who has recently returned to Broadway for Allegiance.

Miscast gala 2016 will also be honoring Academy Award winner Marissa Tomei. Funds raised will be used to help MCC Theater produce more off-Broadway work, and support the youth with their in-school partnerships and literary development work with budding playwrights.

Miscast gala will happen on April 4, 2016 at the Hammerstein Ballroom of the Manhattan Center. Tickets are available at standard and premium prices. For more infomration, contact nvermane@mcctheater.org
