‘Kwentuhog: A Bedtime Story’ to Stage 4 New One-Act Plays this November
Act Avenue is set to stage Kwentuhog: A Bedtime Story, the seventh installment of its Kwentuhog anthology series, this November.
The production features four original, never-before-staged one-act plays, each beginning and ending in a single bed and exploring the different thoughts, worries, and experiences that can keep people awake at night.

Viral vlogger Juicy goes live with a special segment to crown the internet’s “Best Mother.” The contestants are members of her own crew, with her hair and makeup artist, director, production assistant, and cameraman stepping in front of the camera to compete for the title. What begins as a series of games and eliminations shifts as the livestream’s chat begins to dictate the proceedings.
Xander Go serves as artistic director, with Edjie Maglano and Adrian Reyes as dramaturgs.
Performances will be held on November 28 and 29 at 2 PM and 6 PM at the Myra Beltran Dance Forum Studio in Quezon City. Tickets are priced at ₱650 for regular seats and ₱800 for VIP seats and are available through Act Avenue’s website.
Kwentuhog is an original production series by Act Avenue, a community theater organization that conducts theatrical productions and acting workshops for both new and continuing theater practitioners.
