Japanese Troupe “Drum Tao” Returns to Manila this September
Japanese troupe “Drum Tao” returns to Manila from September 5 to 8 at The Theatre at Solaire. The group first performed here at the Newport Performing Arts Theater of Resorts World Manila in 2012, and at the Kia Theater (now called the New Frontier Theater) in 2018.
“Drum Tao” is performing a new show entitled “Rhythm of Tribe, Time Travel Chronicles”, which combines martial arts, choreography, and a contemporary Japanese production, with costumes designed by Paris fashion designer Junko Kashino.
“Drum Tao” has played to over 8 million people in 24 countries including Spain, Australia, Germany, UK, Netherlands, USA, Belgium, and Singapore.
Audiences can expect an evening of beats, rhythm, melody, and extraordinary precision featuring a highly disciplined crew of Japanese Taiko drummers.
