“Jagged Little Pill,” the new musical inspired by Alanis Morissette’s album of the same name, will begin Broadway previews on November 3 at the Broadhurst Theatre, with an official opening on December 5. Tickets will be available for sale beginning May 6.

Last February, the show released an audio clip of the cast singing Morissette’s “All I Really Want.” Now, they’ve just released a clip of the cast singing the track, “You Learn.”

Written by Diablo Cody, with lyrics by Alanis Morissette, and music by Morissette and Glen Ballard, “Jagged Little Pill” is about a family grappling with uncomfortable truths about urgent issues affecting our world today. Featuring Morissette’s iconic songs including “Ironic,” “You Oughta Know,” and “Hand In My Pocket,” plus brand-new songs written for the show, the musical is inspired by themes and emotions from Morissette’s Grammy Award-winning album.

The show is directed by Diane Paulus (Waitress, Pippin), with music supervision, orchestrations, and arrangements by Tom Kitt (Next to Normal, If/Then), additional music by Michael Farrell and Guy Sigsworth, and choreography by Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui.

The track is performed by the American Repertory Theater cast, which includes Elizabeth Stanley (Mary Jane Healy), Derek Klena (Nick Healy), Celia Gooding (Frankie Healy), Sean Allan Krill (Steve Healy), and Lauren Patten (Jo). The ensemble also includes Jane Bruce, John Cardoza, Antonio Cipriano, Kathryn Gallagher, Laurel Harris, Logan Hart, Max Kumangai, Soph Menas, Sean Montgomery, Nora Schell, Whitney Sprayberry, Kei Tsuruharatani, and Ebony Williams.
