Hamilton’s creative team today confirmed the full company for the new international tour which will commence in Manila before traveling to Abu Dhabi ahead of other cities to be announced.

Rachelle Ann Go, who was the first actress to play the role of Eliza Hamilton in Hamilton’s West End production, will be reprising her role in the show’s international tour, which is set to premiere in Manila on September 17, 2023 at The Theatre at Solaire.

As previously reported, she will be joined by Jason Arrow. Arrow is also set to reprise his role as Alexander Hamilton, a role he played in the original Australian cast of Hamilton when it premiered in Sydney in March 2021 and who has since performed the role in Melbourne, Brisbane, and Auckland.

Arrow and Go are joined by DeAundre’ Woods as Aaron Burr, Akina Edmonds as Angelica Schuyler, Darnell Abraham as George Washington, David Park as Marquis de Lafayette/Thomas Jefferson, Shaka Bagadu Cook as Hercules Mulligan/James Madison, Jacob Guzman as John Laurens/Philip Hamilton, Elandrah Eramiha as Peggy Schuyler/Maria Reynolds and Brent Hill as King George.

The international tour company of 34 performers is completed by Claire Abaijah-Griffin, Kirrah Amosa, Curtis Angus, Kyla Bartholomeusz, Taylor Broadard, Trey Curtis, Aniya Danée, Lachlan Dearing, Winston Hillyer, Indigo Hunt, Marcus John, Julian Kuo, Iosefa Laga’aia, Ashton Lash, HaNy Lee, Terrance Martin, Trevor Miles, Eliza Ohman, Callan Purcell, Joshua Rivera, Wesley Ryan, Emmy Saheki, Terrance Spencer and Dayton Tavares. 

The cast is drawn from productions all over the world including Broadway, the North American Tours , London, Australia and Germany.

Michael Cassel, producer of the international tour of Hamilton said: “We have assembled an extraordinary cast of superstars from productions all over the world for Hamilton’s first ever international tour. We can’t wait to introduce them to you as we make our way to exciting new places for the very first time.” 

Written by Lin-Manuel Miranda (music, lyrics, and book) based on the 2004 book entitled Alexander Hamilton by Ron Chernow, Hamilton is a sung-and-rapped-through musical about American Founding Father Alexander Hamilton. The musical explores his journey from being an immigrant and orphan from the Caribbean to becoming a key figure in the American Revolution and the formation of the nation. It opened on Broadway in 2015 and currently holds the record for most number of Tony Award nominations at 16. It won 11 including Best Musical and Best Book of a Musical and Best Original Score for Miranda.

The show is directed by Thomas Kail, with choreography by Andy Blankenbuehler. Also in the creative team are Alex Lacamoire (orchestrations/ co-arranger), David Korins (scenic design), Paul Tazewell (costume design), Howell Binkley (lighting design). Nevin Steinberg (sound design), and Charles G. Lapointe (hair and wig design).

A filmed version of the Broadway production with the original cast is also streaming on Disney+.

The international tour of Hamilton commences at The Theatre at Solaire, whose Manila season will run from September 17 to November 26, 2023 at The Theatre at Solaire. It will then head to make its Middle Eastern premiere at Etihad Arena, Abu Dhabi on January 17. Further cities will be announced in coming months.
