Gian Magdangal Joins ‘Dear Evan Hansen’ of Singapore’s Pangdemonium
Singapore’s Pangdemonium has announced that the company’s 2024 season finale is the Broadway musical, Dear Evan Hansen.
Gian Magdangal joins the cast as Larry Murphy. Also in the cast are Angelo Martinez as Evan Hansen, Gaby Rae as Zoe Murphy, Xander Pang as Connor Murphy, Zachary Pang as Jared Kleinman, Mia Smith as Alana Beck, Rebekah Sangeetha Dorai as Heidi Hansen, and Ethel Yap as Cynthia Murphy.
In a Facebook post, Magdangal said, “So grateful and excited to be part of DEAR EVAN HANSEN by Pangdemonium Singapore playing the role of Larry Murphy. See you at the Victoria Theatre. From October 11, 2024 onwards!

Directed by Tracie Pang, Dear Evan Hansen follows the story of Evan, a young man grappling with the burdens of stress, anxiety, and isolation in his daily life. Struggling with unrequited love for Zoe Murphy and feeling invisible in school, Evan’s world takes an unexpected turn after a chance encounter with a fellow outsider triggers a series of life-altering events, forever changing his trajectory and those around him.
