Disney Theatrical Group announced at the Disney Entertainment Showcase on Friday night during D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event that the West End production of Frozen, which was filmed live on stage and stars Samantha Barks as Elsa, will be streaming on Disney+ in 2025!

The West End production, which opened on September 8, 2021 at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane, will end its run after three years on September 8, 2024. Featuring music and lyrics by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez and a book by Jennifer Lee, the current run stars Barks and Laura Dawkes as Anna.

The production was nominated for four Olivier Awards in 2022, including Best New Musical, Best Actress in a Musical for Stephanie McKeon, who played the original Anna in the production, Best Costume Design for Christopher Oram, and Best Lighting Design for Neil Austin. It is directed by Michael Grandage, with choreography by Rob Ashford.

The Broadway musical opened in March 2018 and closed in March 2020 due to the pandemic. You can watch Samantha Barks perform a snippet of Let It Go from D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event below.
