‘Dedma’ Twin Bill by Theatre Titas Set to Rerun this October
After its debut run from March 29 to April 13, Theatre Titas announces that its twin bill Dedma is set to return for a limited time this October.
Dedma features two plays—Let’s Do Lunch and The Foxtrot—both penned by Theatre Titas co-founder Chesie Galvez-Cariño. In Dedma, members of Manila’s elite toe the line between the beautiful pretense of their daily lives and the ugly truths they try to hide.
Let’s Do Lunch, directed by Maribel Legarda, peers behind the curtain of Val and Issa’s friendship as a pleasant Makati get-together turns sour. Over the course of their meal, their dynamics shift, leaving them to struggle through conversations that neither wants to have. Returning cast members are Issa Litton as Issa and Ash Nicanor as the kasambahay Bebang. Naths Everett will reprise her role as Val, alternating with Mayen Cadd, who joins the cast for the first time.
The Foxtrot, directed by Paul Alexander Morales, spotlights the situationship between dance instructor Diego and his student, the matron Anna. The push and pull between them distracts from the reason for their meeting: one last rehearsal for an amateur ballroom dancing competition. Royce Cabrera steps into the role of Diego, alongside Jackie Lou Blanco, who reprises her role as Anna.
Dedma will run from October 17 to 26, 2025 at the Mirror Studio Theatre 2, with 8 PM performances Fridays through Sundays and 3 PM matinées on Saturdays and Sundays.
Tickets will be available via Ticket2Me at an early-bird price of P1,000 each from August 18 to 24. Starting August 25, tickets will be sold at the regular price of P1,200 each.
This run of Dedma is made possible through partnerships with Three Hens Wine, Scrub Daddy Philippines, and Vara.
