‘Burn the Floor: Ballroom Reinvented’ Coming to Manila this July
Burn the Floor: Ballroom Reinvented is set to take the Philippine stage from July 10 to 15, 2025 at the Theatre at Solaire.
Since its debut in 1999, the live dance show has been known to reinvent its vision of the international style of ballroom dancing. It has performed in over 30 countries and toured extensively across Japan, China, Korea, Taiwan, Singapore, Australia, India, South Africa, Europe, the UK, and the USA, covering 180 cities worldwide—including Broadway and the West End. Burn the Floor: Ballroom Reinvented will showcase standard ballroom dances such as the Slow Waltz, Tango, Viennese Waltz, and Foxtrot, alongside Latin American ballroom dances including the Cha-Cha, Samba, Rumba, Paso Doble, and Jive.
“I wanted to create a showcase that is a fusion of the wonderful traditions of ballroom dancing, a combination of the sensuality, discipline, and commitment of the dancers, with the technology, creativity, and energy of a rock and roll production,” shares Burn the Floor founder and producer Harley Medcalf.
He adds, “Manila is a city with a deep love for performance and dance. We couldn’t be more thrilled to bring Burn the Floor to this incredible audience, and we absolutely can’t wait for Filipinos to experience our world-class dancers’ energy, passion, and sheer brilliance, as this show is a true celebration of movement, music, and raw emotion.”
Burn The Floor is represented in Manila by GMG Productions on behalf of Dance Partner Productions. Tickets go on sale on March 20, 2025, exclusively through TicketWorld.
