Gian Magdangal and Lara Maigue are set to perform Broadway duets in their two-hander concert entitled The Greatest Duets Goes Broadway this November.

Based on the video below, the couple will be singing duets such as You Matter to Me from Waitress and Come What May from Moulin Rouge.

“We have worked hard on this collaboration and cannot wait to perform Broadway’s best duets in an evening that will be filled with beautiful music,” Lara excitedly shared.

“Since it’s the first time for me and Lara to team up in a concert, we want to celebrate the many duets that have inspired us through the years. We are huge fans of Broadway musicals and we want people to enjoy with us during the event,” Gian says. “It’s also a prelude for something bigger coming next year. Something to also watch out for!”

Gian was most recently seen playing Billy Bigelow in REP’s 2022 staging of Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Carousel. He also reprised his role as Hector in the 2023 rerun of Ang Huling El Bimbo.

Lara was most recently seen on the musical theater stage as Ligaya Paraiso in the 2017 staging of Maynila sa Mga Kuko ng Liwanag and as Monica in Gian Carlo Menotti’s opera The Medium in 2017 and 2018.

The Greatest Duets Goes Broadway is directed by Stephen Viñas with musical direction by Jesper Mercado. It will be staged for one night only on November 10, 8pm at Teatrino Promenade. Tickets are available at Ticketworld.
