Theatre Group Asia (TGA) has announced the featured cast members joining Morissette, who will play Middle Allie, in its upcoming staging of The Notebook: The Musical.

Benedix Ramos and Sheena Belarmino will take on the roles of Young Noah and Young Allie, bringing to life the formative years of the central couple—a chapter of first love marked by intensity, innocence, and defiance.

Both have had a slew of theater performances over the past three years—Ramos in featured and starring roles in Next to Normal, Bar Boys: The Musical, Tabing Ilog: The Musical, and Dagitab, while Belarmino has taken on featured and starring roles in One More Chance: The Musical, Tabing Ilog: The Musical, Next to Normal, Bar Boys: The Musical, and Spring Awakening.

They can be seen performing a duet of “Carry You Home” in the video released by the company below.

Featuring music and lyrics by Ingrid Michaelson and a Tony Award-winning book by Bekah Brunstetter, the musical is celebrated for its intimate storytelling and its portrayal of love across a lifetime. It is based on Nicholas Sparks’ 1996 novel, later popularized by the 2004 film adaptation starring Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams.

The Notebook: The Musical is the first in TGA’s 2026–2027 lineup, preceding Ang Tahanan ni Bernarda Alba, a Filipino-language staging of Federico García Lorca’s final play set for February 2027, and Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine’s Sunday in the Park with George, slated for June 2027.

The production runs from September 3 to 20 at the Samsung Performing Arts Theater, Circuit Makati. Ticket prices are P5,500 (VIP), P4,500 (Reserve A), P3,700 (Reserve B), P3,000 (Reserve C), P2,500 (Reserve D), P1,800 (Reserve E), and P900 (Reserve F). Tickets will be available via TicketWorld starting April 20 to 22 for BPI cardholders, April 23 for early-access TGA sign-ups, and April 24 for general public sale.
