Bar Boys: A New Musical is coming to the stage this May!

Nothing much has been revealed yet, except that the upcoming musical is a stage adaptation of the 2017 film written and directed by Kip Oebanda. The film, which starred Rocco Nacino, Carlo Aquino, Enzo Pineda, and Kean Cipriano, revolved around a group of friends who try their best to become aspiring lawyers in law school.

Another detail that has been revealed through the teaser is that Sheila Francisco will be playing Justice Hernandez, a role played by Odette Khan in the film. The rest of the cast and the artistic team have yet to be revealed.

Bar Boys also marks Barefoot Theatre Collaborative’s first production for 2024. More details will be announced soon.
