‘AHEB’, ‘Rak of Aegis’, ‘Sa Wakas’ and more Jukebox Musicals in next ONS
UPDATE, Oct 9, 2023: The show has been postponed to November 14 because two members of the company have tested positive for COVID-19.
This October, One Night Stand: A Monthly Cabaret’s will be staging JUKEBOX BABY!, a cabaret that will put the limelight on Filipino and foreign jukebox musicals.
Jukebox Baby! will feature songs from Rak of Aegis, Ang Huling El Bimbo, Sa Wakas, Eto Na! Musikal nAPO!, as well as songs from & Juliet, Mamma Mia!, Rock of Ages, Jersey Boys, Jagged Little Pill, Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, MJ the Musical, Once Upon A One More Time, Tina: The Tina Turner Musical, All Shook Up, and more!
The performers for the evening are Miah Canton, Paw Castillo, Rapah Manalo, Lance Reblando, Paeng Sudayan, and Teetin Villanueva, with special guest Carla Guevara Laforteza. All theater artists have previously performed in a jukebox stage musical.
The show is directed by John Mark Yap, with musical direction by Daphne Jocson.
It will happen this October 10, 2023 (Tuesday), 8 PM, at 12 Monkeys Music Hall & Pub in Estancia at Capitol Commons, Ortigas, Pasig City.
