The Samsung Performing Arts Theater returns this July for its annual anniversary celebration with After Oz, a one-night-only concert featuring Broadway artists Lissa De Guzman and Allie Trimm.

Titled After Oz with Wicked on Broadway’s Lissa De Guzman and Allie Trimm, the event explores what happens after the role, after the spotlight, and after the curtain falls. The program brings together Broadway favorites, original compositions, and reimagined pop anthems, brought to life through immersive visuals and theatrical design. Joining De Guzman and Trimm are Farley Asuncion & the After Oz Orchestra, the UST Singers, and Mari Dance.

De Guzman is best known for playing Elphaba in the U.S. National Tour of Wicked and was last seen by Manila audiences as Cassie in Theatre Group Asia’s A Chorus Line. Trimm, meanwhile, served as Glinda’s standby on Broadway from December 2021 to March 2024 before taking on the role full-time from March 2025 to March 2026.

The two Broadway performers will be joined by Morissette, who is preparing for her return to the theater stage this September in The Notebook as Middle Allie.

After Oz is directed by Mikko Angeles, with musical direction by Farley Asuncion. The creative team also includes choreographer JM Cabling, set designer Ohm David, lighting designer Meliton Roxas, and projection designer Justin Santiago.

The concert marks the Samsung Performing Arts Theater’s fourth anniversary since opening in 2022. According to the production, the milestone event reflects the venue’s commitment to building audiences, activating creative spaces, and establishing Circuit Makati as a destination for culture, performance, and artistic exchange that brings communities together.

Last year’s celebration featured This Is Me: An Evening with Keala Settle , starring the Tony-nominated performer known for her role as Lettie Lutz in The Greatest Showman.

After Oz with Wicked on Broadway’s Lissa De Guzman and Allie Trimm takes place on July 10 at 7:30 p.m. at the Samsung Performing Arts Theater in Circuit Makati. Tickets are priced at P3,800, P3,500, P3,000, P2,800, P2,500, and P1,500, and are available through TicketWorld.
