‘Spring Awakening’ 2026 Cast Members to Lead One Night Stand Cabaret’s ‘Back to School’ This November
One Night Stand Cabaret returns this November with Back to School, featuring cast members of The Sandbox Collective’s 2026 production of Spring Awakening performing songs from high school-set musicals.
Featured performers include Nikki Bengzon, Elian Dominguez, Angia Laurel, Vino Mabalot, Felicity Kyle Napuli, Davy Narciso, and Omar Uddin. They will be joined by Sheena Belarmino, Jam Binay, Mijon Cortez, Pappel, Lance Soliman, and Gabo Tiongson.
For the Spring Awakening cast members, the cabaret also serves as an opportunity to perform together again.
“I see these people a lot because they’re some of my closest friends. I’m just glad to be doing this with them again,” says Nikki Bengzon, who served as a female swing in the production.
“It’s great to know that I’ll be with my family again,” shares Angia Laurel, who played Martha Bessell, while Elian Dominguez, who played Ernst Röbel, says, “The friendship was a highlight for me in Spring, so working with these people again is never a no!”
Felicity Kyle Napuli, who played Thea, adds, “I feel so excited and grateful to be a part of this.”
Davy Narciso, who played Georg Zirschnitz, meanwhile, says, “I wish we could hang out more outside of work settings, but we’re all so busy.”
The evening will feature songs from Heathers, Mean Girls, Dear Evan Hansen, Be More Chill, High School Musical, Bring It On, Carrie, Grease, Bare, and more.
Farley Asuncion serves as musical director.
One Night Stand Cabaret presents a different theme for each edition, with Back to School bringing together songs from musicals centered on high school life.
One Night Stand Cabaret: Back to School will be staged on November 17 at 7:30 PM at 12 Monkeys Music Hall & Pub, Estancia, Capitol Commons, Ortigas, Pasig City. Door charge is ₱1,000 per person. For table reservations, contact 12 Monkeys Music Hall & Pub at 0917-570-3222.
