Broadway Open Mic Night ‘PopQuiz Spotlight’ Returns This Halloween
PopQuiz is bringing back its Broadway open mic night, PopQuiz Spotlight, on October 31 from 4 PM to 8 PM at Vault Speakeasy Bar inside Tittos Latin BBQ & Brew, giving musical theater fans a chance to take center stage.
First held in 2017, PopQuiz Spotlight returns as part of PopQuiz’s 10th anniversary celebration. This year’s Halloween edition invites participants to perform a song from any stage or film musical from the Philippines, the West End, Broadway, and beyond.
Performers must bring their own sheet music for the pianist, either printed or in digital form. A total of 50 performance slots will be available. Duets and group performances are allowed but will count as one performance slot. Repeat performances by registered performers may also be accommodated once all pre-registered performers have performed, time permitting.
Guests are also encouraged to come dressed as musical theater characters or wear official show merchandise. A Best in Costume winner will be selected during the event.
Tickets are priced at ₱700 for the Early Bird rate, available until October 30, which includes one performance slot. The Orpheus and Eurydice Combo is priced at ₱1,200 and includes two tickets—one for a performer and one for a spectator. The Unholy Trinity package is priced at ₱2,000 and includes three performer slots.
On-site tickets are priced at ₱1,000 per person for either one spectator or one performance slot. Each ticket comes with a drink, with both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options available.
Due to limited seating at Vault, priority will be given to performers. Spectators who do not purchase the Orpheus and Eurydice Combo will only be accommodated as walk-ins if seats remain available on the day of the event.
Tickets are non-refundable unless PopQuiz cancels the event. Tickets and performance slots are transferable, provided PopQuiz is informed before the event.
Tickets can be purchased through the event’s registration form.
