Mediartrix – UST is set to stage an original musical entitled Ayoko Kay Helena, staged with a live band, from February 4 to 7 at the Albertus Magnus Auditorium.

In their ticketing link, it reads, “In a world full of glitz, glamour and gossip, will the new generation of women empower each other and rise to the top? Or will fame-obsessed aspiration be the driving force of malice and exploitation?”

The show runs on February 4 at 1 PM, 3 PM, and 5:30 PM, February 6 at 10 AM, 1 PM, 3:30 PM, and 6:30 PM, and February 7 at 1 PM, 3 PM, and 5:30 PM. Tickets are P350 (regular), P250 (UST alumni), and P900 for a bundle of 3, which can be bought through the group’s Google Form.

2. Itutuloy: Tatlong Dulang Panlaboratoryo by Teatro de Letran

Teatro de Letran, the premier theater company of Colegio de San Juan de Letran–Manila, is set to stage its annual production, Itutuloy: Tatlong Dulang Panlaboratoryo, as part of the organization’s Apprenticeship Program, where new and experimental works are developed and staged in pursuit of artistic growth and exploration.

The three plays include:

1. STARVES!, written and directed by Jethro Estrella

In the golden age of “ethical consumption”, an overbearing and obnoxious circle of friends wage war in the name of virtue signaling. STARVES! follows a group of self-proclaimed revolutionaries whose battle for the planet is overshadowed by their battle for validation. Set in a hyper-consumerist supermarket, this absurdist comedy satirizes performative activism and the futility of genuine resistance.

Cast: Daril Joaquin Abustan as Miguel, Hershey Andre Hocson as Bianca, Lovelyn Joy Mendoza as Sophia, John Rei Regala as Enzo, and Jean Patrick Dizon as Cashier.

2. By Fate’s Roulette, written and directed by Neptune

By Fate’s Roulette follows a young girl who becomes entangled in the illusion that luck can shape her destiny. As gambling grows from a casual escape into an obsession, she finds herself trapped between her own self-delusions and a society that treats betting as ordinary and harmless. Surrounded by others who gamble just as freely, she struggles to reclaim control of her life, fighting a battle against addiction whose outcome is never guaranteed.

Cast: Juliane Christine Tumbaga as Thea, Erick Gabriel Dela Serna as Mico, Juliane Christine Tumbaga as Melicia, Ben Angelo Rias as Beggar

3. Kendi, written and directed by Jelwyn Migel Marquez

Cast: Jorwin Bersalona as Bata, Janhilly Ahljer Reserva  as Tindero

Production design is by Maria Janela Saskia Castro, lighting design is by Jelwyn Migel Marquez, sound design is by Jethro Estrella, and graphic design is by Kurt Vincent Paed.

Tickets are P130 (student from any school; Letranite alumni, employee, student) and P200 (general audience). Tickets can be purchased through the organization’s Google Form.

3. Unspoken: A Reckoning In Four Parts by Tanghalang Lykeion

Tanghalang Lykeion, the premier performing arts organization of Lyceum of the Philippines University Cavite, opens its second production for its 8th theatrical season with Unspoken: A Reckoning In Four Parts.

The quadruple bill features intimate stories where relationships are tested by time, memory, and unresolved desire. Set across dinners, coffee shops, crime scenes, and rehearsal rooms, the plays follow characters confronting buried words and lingering love. Each piece asks: what happens when the things left unsaid return, demanding to be heard?

Opening the production is We Should Do This More Often, written by John Henson Encela and directed by Khiro Arbiz. The slice-of-life comedy reunites Archie and Ramon over drinks and dinner when Ramon asks Archie to be his best man. Over the course of one night, they unpack why they fell apart and what still binds them. Encela calls the play an ode to friendships lost and outgrown, and the closure he never had. It stars Matthew Trinidad, Simoun Vallestero, and Honey Leth Olimba, with stage management by Trisha Maniquiz.

Next is the romantic comedy Coffee For Two, written by Earth Mary Angel Ureta and directed by Prince Kyle Capistrano. Two estranged childhood friends meet again in a café and realize they were once each other’s greatest love. As they revisit the past, they must decide if their reunion is a second chance or a final goodbye. The play stars JC Mar Garferio, Alessandra Mae Donayre, and John Jhared Plandes, with stage management by Sara Angelli Frilles.

The thriller mystery Warmth in Deception, written and directed by Simoun Vallestero, follows a police captain investigating his wife’s death while facing desire, betrayal, and moral doubt. Beyond jealousy and obsession, the play explores vulnerability and difficult truths. It features Hans Ezekiel Santiago, Jacob Del Mundo, Liam Angelo Cuaderno, and Andre Gail Tafalla, with stage manager Jehu Catibayan.

Closing the lineup is In Between The Lines by Angelique Mae De Guzman, a romantic drama about former lovers cast as leads in their college production. Framed as raw and intimate, it feels like overhearing a private conversation. Khiro Arbiz and Khyla Devera play Gab and Iris, with stage management by Cassandra Petalino.

Company Manager Khiro Arbiz shares that the production champions new voices and stories silenced by time, calling the works a collective act of resistance, remembrance, and cultural preservation.

Unspoken: A Reckoning in Four Parts runs on February 27 and 28 at 10 AM and 2 PM, and March 2 at 10 AM and 2 PM, at the LPU Cavite Lemongrass Studio in General Trias, Cavite. Follow @tanghalanglykeion on Facebook and Instagram for ticketing details.

4. OKATOKAT by Artistang Artlets

Artistang Artlets–UST is set to stage OKATOKAT for its Juniors’ Theater Literacy Program in its 45th season. The one-act play ponders haunted pasts and journeys toward self-growth after being ghosted—figuratively… and literally.

Isang babae at ang kanyang landlord ang nagsanib-puwersa upang paalisin ang multong gumagambala sa kanya.
