Repertory Philippines has just revealed its line-up for its upcoming 89th season in 2026 with the theme By Love, Transformed—featuring four diverse productions that include staged readings, two musicals, and a revival of a Shakespeare classic.

They kick-off their season with REP Unplugged: Staged Readings Reimagined, featuring two comedies—Noel Coward’s Private Lives, directed by REP’s Artistic Director Jeremy Domingo, and Anton Chekhov’s The Proposal, directed by Cara Barredo. The twin bill will run on March 21, 22, 28, and 29 at the REP Eastwood Theater.

Their second production is Man of La Manchawhich is set to run from June 5 to 28 at the REP Eastwood Theater. The Tony Award-winning Broadway musical unfolds in a grim Spanish dungeon where the author Cervantes must defend himself by narrating an imaginative tale. He transforms into Don Quixote, a self-proclaimed knight determined to see the world not as it is, but as it ought to be. In partnership with the Manila Symphony Orchestra, the show is directed by Nelsito Gomez, with a book by Dale Wasserman, and music and lyrics by Mitch Leigh and Joe Darion.

Third is REP’s Theater for Young Audiences (RTYA) offering for 2026—Cinderella, A Tale of the Glass Slipper, opening in August 2026 at the REP Eastwood Theater. With book, music, and lyrics by Janet Yates Vogt and Mark Friedman, the story follows the charming heroine who overcomes mistreatment from a hilariously wicked stepmother and outrageous stepsisters to finally go to the royal ball. With the help of her kind best friend, a silly rat named Putterman, and her magical Fairy Godmother—and facing a few twists and turns along the way—Cinderella reminds us that taking the first step is one thing you won’t ever regret. It is co-directed by Joy Virata and Cara Barredo.

Fourth is William Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, directed by the company’s artistic director, Jeremy Domingo. The story follows four lovers and a troupe of amateur actors who stumble into an enchanted forest and ignite a hilarious feud among the fairies. Audiences can witness the mischief and magic as Puck’s spells turn the world upside down. In partnership with St. Scholastica’s College, A Midsummer Night’s Dream runs from September to October 2026 at Saint Cecilia’s Hall St. Scholastica’s College, Manila.
