‘Patintero sa Ayala Avenue’ Announces Limited Rerun this December
CAST PH has announced the limited rerun of Patintero sa Ayala Avenue, opening on December 6 at The Mirror Theatre Studios in Makati City. The production will run for six performances and serves as the company’s final show for 2025, capping off a season that included its annual staged reading festival in January, the rerun of Othello in March, and Twelfth Night at Ayala Triangle in October.
Written and directed by recent Palanca Award winner Rafael Jimenez, this original Filipino play follows a sixteen-year-old boy who, after being expelled from school, spends one restless night wandering the streets of Poblacion to discover what really happens to the lights on Ayala Avenue after Christmas.
The rerun features Zoë de Ocampo in the lead role, reprising his performance from last year’s premiere. He is joined by Teia Contreras, who returns to the cast following her appearance in Twelfth Night.
Joining Jimenez on the creative team are Rafa Sumilong (Lighting Design), Carlo Hombrebueno (Sound Design), and CAST PH Co-Founder Sarah Facuri (Set Consultant).
The show will run on December 6 at 8 PM, December 7 at 3 PM and 8 PM, December 13 at 8 PM, and December 14 at 3 PM and 8 PM at The Mirror Theatre Studios, 5th Floor, SJG Building, 8463 Kalayaan Avenue, Makati. The performance runs for approximately two hours with an intermission.
This hyper-intimate staging accommodates only ninety (90) audience members per show. Tickets are priced at P800 each and are available for purchase starting today, with Early Bird and Barkada Bundle discounts offered until November 6. Early Bird rates are P720 for one ticket or P2,100 for three tickets (P700 each). Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis.
