Stages Production Specialists, Inc. and MusicArtes, Inc. have just announced that, due to popular demand, Kaliwaan will have one final extension from September 5 to 7 at The Mirror Theater Studio.

Kaliwaan, which premiered on August 22, is a Filipino translation of Harold Pinter’s Betrayal by Guelan Varela-Luarca. The production stars Missy Maramara as Emma, Ron Capinding as Robert, and Nor Capinding as Jerry.

Directed by Loy Arcenas, the play traces the emotional fallout of a seven-year affair between a woman and her husband’s best friend. As the story rewinds, audiences are pulled deeper into a world where trust fades, love is negotiated, and desire comes at a cost. The play asks: What truths do we hide to keep the love we think we deserve?

Also part of the creative team are Giancarlo Abrahan (dramaturg), Charles Yee (set designer), Tata Tuviera (costume designer), Ninya Bedruz (lighting designer), Arvy Dimaculangan (sound designer), Jenny Jamora (intimacy director), and Zoë de Ocampo (graphic designer).

The extended run includes five additional shows: September 5 at 8 PM; September 6 at 5 PM and 8 PM; and September 7 at 3 PM and 7 PM.

Ticket prices are P1,250 for Platinum, P1,100 for Gold, P950 for Silver, and P800 for Bronze. Tickets are available for purchase via the group’s Google Form.
