HAPHOW: The Musical, an original production that premiered on May 28, 2025 at The Theatre at Solaire, is set to return for limited weekends runs from October to November.

Written by MJ Aspacio (playwright, composer, musical director), HAPHOW is a musical that weaves together core Filipino values and environmental themes, celebrating the power of change, community, and connection with Mother Nature. The title HAPHOW stands for Humility, Acceptance, Patience, Honesty, Open-Mindedness, and Willingness—virtues that lie at the heart of the narrative.

Set in a fictional town in the vibrant world of insects, the story follows a man who has lost all hope and the community that rallies around him to bring him back to life.

The cast features Gerald Santos as HAPHOW, alongside Danielle Delica (Alibee, Ingkong Acacia), Maria Krischellei Robles (Alitaptap, Understudy Alibee), Mark Jhonsen Moise Bognot (Alitap), Bryan Opano (Spidy, Apong Narra), Joshua Almeda (Hopper, Swing), Kathleen Key Ng (Lady Bug, Tandang Balete), Jade Baltasar (Landong Langgam, Ensemble), Nel Estuya (Aligubang), Jasper Hernandez (Toto Tutubi, Ensemble), Dune Michael Garcia (Toto Tutubi, Ensemble), Herbie Amber Arbo (Alitap Kid Flashy, Ensemble), Jesu Miguel Tan (Alitap Kid Glowy, Ensemble), Sophia Marie Aspacio (Alibee Kid Buzzy, Ensemble), Moira Sandico (Alibee Kid Zappy, Ensemble), and Cielo Marie Dela Cruz (Alibee Kid Zippy, Ensemble).

Also in the creative team with Aspacio are Amy Gay Villacampa-Laboc (concept creator), Salve Arbo (creative director, music arranger contributor), Antonino Rommel Ramilo (artistic director), Joey Nombres (lighting designer), Marlon Silva (vocal coach), and Millet Yulo (set designer).

The show runs from October 24 to 26 and November 18 to 20 at 10:30 AM and 3 PM at The Theatre at Solaire. Tickets are priced at P4,280 (SVIP), P3,580 (VIP), P2,750 (Gold), P1,880 (Silver), and P1,050 (Bronze), and may be purchased through the group’s website.
