WATCH: Tony Awards 2025 Performances are Now Online
The 78th Annual Tony Awards, hosted by Cynthia Erivo, has just concluded, with Maybe Happy Ending bagging the most wins of the evening—six Tony Awards, including Best Musical.
It was followed by Buena Vista Social Club with four wins, and Sunset Blvd. and Stranger Things: The First Shadow with three each.
Big acting wins went to Darren Criss, who won Best Performance by a Leading Actor in a Musical for playing Oliver in Maybe Happy Ending; Nicole Scherzinger, who won Best Performance by a Leading Actress in a Musical for her portrayal of Norma Desmond in Sunset Blvd.; Sarah Snook, who won Best Performance by a Leading Actress in a Play for playing all 26 roles in The Picture of Dorian Gray; and Cole Escola, who won Best Performance by a Leading Actor in a Play for his portrayal of Mary Todd Lincoln in Oh, Mary!
Best Revival of a Musical went to Sunset Blvd., Best Play went to Purpose, and Best Revival of a Play went to Eureka Day.
The ceremony was held on June 8, 8 PM ET at Radio City Music Hall in New York and was broadcast live on the CBS Television Network. You can watch performances from the year’s biggest musicals below.
