Floy Quintos Special Tribute Happening this April
On April 27, 2025, Shades of Floy: Celebrating the Quintosian Legacy—a one-night-only tribute to the late playwright, director, cultural worker, and mentor to theater artists in the Philippines, Floy Quintos—will be held at the Hyundai Hall, Areté, Ateneo de Manila University, Quezon City. The date marks one year since his passing.
This one-night-only event will be an evening of gathering, storytelling, and remembrance in honor of a life dedicated to creativity, courage, and country.
The tribute is open to all—those who knew him well, worked alongside him, learned from him, or simply sat in the audience. The evening will feature performances by the Ramon Obusan Folkloric Group, Ayen Munji-Laurel, Teroy Guzman, Mario Magallona, Nelsito Gomez, Teetin Villanueva, Ronah Rostata de la Peña, Jessette Namin, Jon Abella, Frances Makil-Ignacio, Ana Abad Santos, Stella Cañete-Mendoza, Poppert Bernadas, Shamaine Centenera-Buencamino, Aleron, Arkel Mendoza, Bituin Escalante, and Franco Laurel. The program will be directed by Dexter M. Santos.
Admission is free and open to the public. The schedule is as follows:
