It was announced at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event that the stage adaptation of Disney’s Hercules will be coming to the West End at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane in June 2025.

The production is directed and choreographed by Casey Nicholaw, with music and lyrics by Alan Menken and David Zippel, a brand-new book by Robert Horn and Kwame Kwei-Armah, and co-choreography by Tanisha Scott. Hercules is inspired by the 1997 animated film of the same name from Walt Disney Studios.

You can find a first look of the cast singing Go the Distance and Zero to Hero in the video posted by Variety below.

Hercules is a 1997 Disney animated film that follows the journey of Hercules, the son of Zeus, who must prove himself a true hero to regain his lost godhood. Along the way, he battles the schemes of Hades, who aims to take over Mount Olympus, and falls in love with Megara, a woman caught in Hades’ plans.
