‘The Sound of Musicals’ Concert to Stream
Countertenor and theater artist Jay Barrameda will be streaming a solo musical theater concert entitled La Voce D’ Una Sirena (The Sound of Musicals), with special guest Tim Pavino accompanied by musical director Farley Asuncion, this December 11 and 12 on Ticket2me.net.
The concert will feature songs from The Last Five Years, Once on this Island, Carousel, The Color Purple, Sunday in the Park with George, Flower Drum Song, Follies, and many more.
Jay is considered as one of the few countertenors in the Philippines. His theater credits include playing the Dragon in Philippine Opera Company’s Magic Flute and being a member of the ensemble for Philippine Opera Company’s La Boheme, 9 Works Theatrical and The Sandbox’s Collective’s Himala: Isang Musikal, Viva Voce’s L’elisir D’ Amore and Carmina Burana, among others.
The show will be livestreamed on December 11, 8pm, and December 12 9am and 8pm on Ticket2Me.net. Ticket price is P500.
