WATCH: Lea Salonga, Sierra Boggess, Sing “On My Own” with Claude-Michel Schönberg
The global theater community continues to help each other out during these unprecedented times by putting out new and interesting content, encouraging theater lovers everywhere to donate what they can to arts funds across the world.
Last month, it was select performers who were once part of a stage production of Les Miserables, including Lea Salonga, who played Eponine and Fantine in Broadway productions of the musical. With her are Sierra Boggess who also played Fantine, and actors Julian Ovenden and Gerónimo Rauch.
The group, along with composer Claude-Michel Schönberg, performed one of the show’s biggest hits, “On My Own”. You can watch the video below.
The video also encouraged donations to four organizations fundraising to help aid the theater community in their countries: the Artists Welfare Project in the Philippines, the Theatre Artists Fund in the UK, the Actors Fund in the US, and Casa Del Teatro in Argentina.
