“Ang Huling El Bimbo” Leads Gawad Buhay’s 3rd & 4th Quarter Citations
Gawad Buhay, the country’s recognition for performing arts have released their 3rd & 4th quarter citations. Only shows produced by members of Philstage, the country’s alliance for performing arts companies, are eligible for citation and eventual nomination for the 11th Gawad Buhay Awards on April of this year.

For the second half of 2018, 7 shows were eligible for citations: Full House Theater Company / Resorts World Manila’s “Ang Huling El Bimbo”, 9 Works Theatrical’s “Eto Na! Musikal nAPO!”, 9WT / The Sandbox Collective’s “Lungs”, Tanghalang Pilipino’s “Manila Notes” (in partnership with the Japan Foundation) and “Balag at Angud”, Red Turnip Theater’s “A Doll’s House, part 2”, and Repertory Philippines’ “Rapunzel! Rapunzel! A Very Hairy Fairy Tale”.
