SNEAK PEEK: New Mula sa Buwan Cast Sings ‘Ikaw’, ‘Ang Sabi Nila’, and more!
After officially opening to the public in 2016 at the Henry Lee Irwin Theater of Ateneo de Manila University, Mula sa Buwan comes back this November with new cast members and a new venue.
The original musical, co-written by director Pat Valera (concept, book, and lyrics) and William Manzano (music and lyrics), now welcomes Myke Salomon for the role of Christian. Gab Pangilinan alternates with Cris Go for the role of Roxane. Original stars Nicco Manalo and Boo Gabunada come back to alternate for the role of Cyrano, while Edward Benosa reprises his role as Christian.
At last night’s Mula sa Buwan launch party held at Eastwood City, the cast members sang some of the most popular songs from the show.
Boo Gabunada and Cris Go sing ‘Ikaw’ and ‘Ang Sabi Nila’ in the video below.
Myke Salomon, Gab Pangilinan, and Nicco Manalo perform the songs ‘Matatapos Din’, ‘Awit ni Roxane’, and ‘Tinig sa Dilim.’
The company of Mula sa Buwan sing the rousing group numbers ‘Manifesto’ and the title song ‘Mula sa Buwan.’
Based on the story of ‘Cyrano de Bergerac’, Mula sa Buwan is about the love story between Cyrano, Roxane, and Christian set in 1940’s Manila.
The show will run from November 9-25 at the Hyundai Hall of Aretè in the Ateneo de Manila University. You can buy tickets at https://ticket2me.net/
