Walt Disney Studios has just released a clip of Will Smith singing the iconic number “Prince Ali” from Aladdin’s live-action remake. Smith plays the Genie opposite Mena Massoud as Aladdin, Naomi Scott as Princess Jasmine, and Marwan Kenzari as Jafar.

The trailer features an excerpt reminiscent of the number from the 1992 animated film, popularized by Robin Williams as the Genie.

The film is directed by Guy Ritchie and written by John August and Ritchie. Alan Menken provides the score, which includes new recordings of the original songs written by Menken and lyricists Howard Ashman and Tim Rice. Two new songs written by Menken and songwriting duo Benj Pasek and Justin Paul are also included.

“Aladdin” is hitting local cinemas on May 22. You can watch the trailer below.
