The West End musical “The Prince of Egypt” releases a new romantic duet entitled “Never In a Million Years”, featuring Christine Allado as Tzipporah and Luke Brady as Moses. It is one of the ten new songs written by Stephen Schwartz.

The production is set to open on February 25, 2020, with previews beginning on February 5, 2020, at the Dominion Theatre in London. The musical will feature 5 songs from the original 1998 animated feature written by Stephen Schwartz, including the Academy Award-winning song “When You Believe.”

“The Prince of Egypt” is directed by Scott Schwartz, with a book written by Philip LeZebnik and choreography by Sean Cheesman. The show will be produced by DreamWorks Theatricals, Michael McCabe, and Neil Laidlaw.

The principal cast features Luke Brady as Moses, Liam Tamne as Ramses, Alexia Khadime as Miriam, and Filipino homegrown theater artist and original West End Hamilton cast member Christine Allado as Tzipporah. They are joined by Joe Dixon as Seti, Debbie Kurup as Queen Tuya, Gary Wilmot as Jethro, Mercedesz Csampai as Yocheved, Adam Pearce as Hotep, Tanisha Spring as Nefertari, and Silas Wyatt-Barke as Aaron.

Ensemble members include Simbi Akande (understudy Nefertari, Miriam), Casey Al-Shaqsy (understudy Nefertari, Tzipporah), Joe Atkinson (swing), Danny Becker (understudy Aaron, Moses), Felipe Bejarano (swing; understudy Ramses), Pàje Campbell, Adam Filipe (understudy Moses, Ramses), Soophia Foroughi (understudy Tuya, Yocheved), Natalie Green (swing; understudy Tuya, Yocheved), Jack Harrison-Cooper (understudy Aaron), Rachael Ireson (swing; dance captain), Kalene Jeans (swing), Christian Knight, Jessica Lee, Oliver Lidert (understudy Jethro, Hotep), Jay Marsh (understudy Seti, Jethro), Scott Maurice (understudy Hotep, Seti), Carly Miles, Sam Oladeinde (understudy Ramses), Alice Readie, Christopher Short, Ricardo Walker, Danny Williams (swing), Niko Wirachman, and Sasha Woodward.

“The Prince of Egypt” follows the journey of Moses and Ramses, two young men raised together as brothers in a kingdom of privilege, who suddenly find themselves divided by a secret past. One must rule as Pharaoh, while the other must rise up and free his true people.
