‘Tinig Ng Bayan’ Online Concert to Stream Today
Artists will come together to raise their voices in a concert that will run parallel to Rodrigo Duterte’s State of the Nation Address later today.
From 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, the “Tinig ng Bayan: SONAgkaisa Concert” will be streamed on Radyo Katipunan 87.9 featuring theater figures Monique Wilson, Bituin Escalante, and Agot Isidro.
Other artists to be featured include Celeste Legaspi, Arman Ferrer, Pinky Amador, Noel Cabangon, Bayang Barrios, The Company, and Tanghalang Pilipino.
Musicians, artists, and personalities Angel Locsin, Frankie Pangilinan, Enchong Dee, Ebe Dancel, Jim Paredes, Jodi Sta. Maria, Mylene Dizon, Kean Cipriano, Martin Nievera, Bullet Dumas, Moonstar 88, True Faith, Johnoy Danao, Iza Calzado, Boboy Garovillo, Ria Atayde, Julia Barreto, Nikki Valdez, and more are also slated to join the concert.
The online concert is for the benefit of the De La Salle Philippines’ Project Paghilom, which supports families left behind by the victims of the war on drugs. Donations can be made through this website.
