‘The Quest for the Adarna’ Musical to Stream Again for 24 Hours

REP’s The Quest for the Adarna, which first streamed last March 20, is returning online this May 22, 10am for only 24 hours.

Tickets to this streaming are priced at P500 and can be bought from ticket2me.net.

The streaming cast features Diego Aranda as Prince Juan, Arion Sanchez as Prince Pedro, Sean Nolasco as Prince Diego, Jillian Ita-as as Maria Blanca, Noel Rayos as Hermit, Raymund Concepcion as King Fernando, Naths Everett as Queen Valeriana, Matthew Barbers as King Salermo, and Carla Guevara Laforteza as the Adarna, with JP Ortenero, Nicole Herrera, Chesko Rodriguez, Deo dela Cruz, Dindo Divinagracia, Moira Lozada, Joni Galeste, Chesca Ostrea, and Pauline Jaravata as members of the ensemble.

The Quest for the Adarna is an original musical based on the well-known Filipino folklore, Ibong Adarna. It is written by Luna Griño-Inocian, with music by Rony Fortich, set design by Joey Mendoza, costumes by Tata Tuviera, choreography by PJ Rebullida, lighting design by John Batalla, video design by Winter David, and puppets by Otto Hernandez. It is directed by Joy Virata, with additional co-direction by Jamie Wilson and Naths Everett.

The show ran as part of REP’s Theater for Young Audiences from September 14, 2019- January 12, 2020 at the Onstage Theater of Greenbelt 1.
