It’s day 7 of TFM’s 1-week 11th anniversary celebration, which means that we have come to the last (but certainly not least) show that we’re giving away for our anniversary week– ‘²BAYANI: Isang Rock Operang Alay Kay Andres Bonifacio’!
It is a rock opera about Andres Bonifacio that was first staged in 1996. In 2022, Areté in partnership with Tanghalang Ateneo is staging this as a new online theatrical production for streaming.
The play is directed by Ricardo G. Abad, with music and lyrics by Zosimo Quibilan, Jr. and Khavn, who are reunited after 26 years. The cast stars indie-folk musician Bullet Dumas in the titular role.
