RWM Celebrates World Theater Day and Women’s Month
In celebration of the Women’s Month of March and World Theater Day today, March 27, Resorts World Manila honors the women of Philippine theater with a short video entitled Leading Ladies: A Glance into the Life of a True Filipina Actress.
The video tells the story of a young aspiring actress through the experiences of acclaimed Filipina thespians Pinky Marquez (The Graduate, Marco Polo), Cris Villonco (Fun Home, Constellations), Shiela Valderrama-Martinez (Rak of Aegis, Dani Girl), and Tanya Manalang (Rak of Aegis, Tick Tick Boom), with the help of theater’s rising stars Monica Cuenco (Bituing Walang Ningning) and Isabeli Araneta-Elizalde (Annie).
