I Remember a BoyThe OPM Musical Revue about a group of friends who reunite at a cafe they frequented in college comes back for a limited run this March.

I Remember a Boy, which offers a fresh, nostalgic story of love and friendship, will be featuring twelve young, talented, and up-and-coming performing artists: Kathleen Francisco (MLQ: Ang Buhay ni Manuel L. Quezon, Trumpets’ The Little Mermaid, Dog Sees God), Cathrine Go (Happiness is a Pearl, Prelude to Macbeth, M Episode), Philippe Go (Make Believe Productions’ The Little Prince), Joe Henson, Mariella Laurel (Lagablab, A Christmas Carol, Prelude to Macbeth), Miko Manguba. Gian Gloria (American Idiot, A Christmas Carol, Marco Polo: An Untold Love Story), Nina Macalino, Kendrick Ibasco (A Christmas Carol, Newsies, American Idiot), Vyen Villanueva (Newsies, A Christmas Carol), Shalee Vicencio (Dirty Old Musical, American Idiot, A Christmas Carol), and Jon Abella (A Christmas Carol, Newsies, Mula sa Buwan).

Written by Ayu Martinez and directed by Mariella Laurel, the musical is written and made by millennials for millennials. With the help of the musical direction from award-winning composer Jesse Lucas, the production will be composed of songs from classic OPM hits from the 70’s to the 90’s.
