Ballet Manila has just released its 5th out of its 10 short dance films in its Ballet Minis: Passages on Pointe series.

Entitled Stamina, it is inspired by Ric Culalic’s Arnis and choreographed for film by Gerardo Francisco, Jr. It is performed by Joshua Enciso as the Young Apprentice and John Ralp Balagot as the Master.

You can watch the short film below.

All 10 films are inspired by some of the company’s most loved performance pieces, chosen to tell Ballet Manila’s dance journey over the past 25 years, reimagined for digital media. The series is made possible by the Innovation Grants Project of the Cultural Center of the Philippines.

Passages on Pointe was born out of the challenge to innovate, a desire to create, and the passion for dance. You can watch the first four dance films here.
