MET Clean Up being organized by NCCA

According to Coconuts Manila, the NCCA (National Commission for Culture and the Arts) will be organizing a clean-up drive every two weeks beginning this January.

“The call for volunteers will be announced via NCCA’s Facebook page. Interested volunteers can also send an email (mettheatermanila [at] ncca [dot] gov [dot] ph) or hit NCCA up onFacebook.”

This comes after the successful clean-up drive that transpired last December 12. Architecture students from different universities were encouraged to join by signing up via email.

From the overwhelming response that the organizers (METamorphosis) received as soon as it announced its call for student volunteers, the clean-up in January will surely be welcomed by the general public. It will be an open call for anyone interested to participate.

We’re all really looking forward for the success of this project so that we can once again experience the theater in this historical venue.
