So GMG Productions just concluded its The Sound of Music run yesterday, starring Jill-Christine Wiley as Maria, Trevor Martin as Captain von Trapp, and Lauren Kidwell as Mother Abbess, featuring Karylle Tatlonghari as Baroness Elsa von Schraeder and Markki Stroem as Rolf.

And just a few minutes ago, the company just posted this on its Facebook page– a video of Lin-Manuel Miranda addressing the Philippines.

We reached out to GMG Productions Associate Producer Sam Sewell for comment and she said, “Keep your eyes peeled, Philippines.”

While we don’t know what it is definitively, what we do know is that Lin-Manuel Miranda is behind stage musicals such as In the Heights, Hamilton, and the soundtracks for films like Moana, Encanto, and Vivo.
