‘Joseph the Dreamer’ Musical Now Streaming

The 1999 production of Trumpets Inc.’s Joseph the Dreamer is now streaming online!

Featuring Audie Gemora as Joseph and Freddie Santos as Jacob, the musical is currently streaming on Trumpets’ Facebook page and YouTube channel. The cast also features Carlo Orosa, Lito Villareal, Sheila Francisco, Steve Cadd, Viking Valasote, and the actors of Trumpets.

Based on the cantata by Cam Floria, Joseph the Dreamer follows the biblical story of Joseph, the 11th son of Jacob. It is written and directed by Freddie Santos, with musical direction by Mon Faustino.

The musical was re-staged earlier this year starring Sam Concepcion in the titular role. It was directed by Paolo Valenciano, with musical direction by Myke Salomon.

There will also be an online event entitled Joining Our Hands: In Joy and Praise, where the cast of Joseph the Dreamer will be performing music from the production. It will stream on October 10 and 11, 8pm on Trumpets’ Facebook page and YouTube channel.

The weekend festivities is part of Father’s Festival, an online tribute to Freddie Santos’ years of passion for the arts.
