Hollywood can’t seem to get enough of musicals, with Jersey Boys, the musical about the band The Four Seasons is also coming to our screens for streaming.

The upcoming production in the works is specifically made to stream. While there’s not a lot of news yet about this iteration of the musical, Nick Jonas, formerly a member of a boyband himself, is in talks to play Frankie Valli. It will reportedly be produced by the same people behind the original Broadway production, including Frankie Valli himself and Bob Gaudio as well as producers of the movie Bohemian Rhapsody.

A version of the musical was staged here in Manila back in 2016 by Atlantis Theatrical Entertainment Group, directed by Bobby Garcia and starring Nyoy Volante as Frankie Valli and Christian Bautista as Bob Gaudio. The original musical premiered on Broadway in 2005, with music and lyrics by Bob Gaudio and Bob Crewe respectively, and a book by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice.
