‘Jekyll and Hyde’ Free Stream Now Online
The UK’s Old Vic theatre is streaming its dance adaptation of Jekyll and Hyde for free this August.
This dance thriller was devised, directed, and choreographed by Olivier Award-winner Drew McOnie to original music by Grant Olding. It is based on the classic novel by Robert Louis Stevenson, The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.
The production starred Daniel Collins as Dr. Jekyll, Tim Hodges as Mr. Hyde, and Rachel Muldoon as Dahlia.
Other members of the cast included Ashley Andrews, Joao Carolino, Carrie Taylor Johnson, Anabel Kutay, Ebony Molina, Fraya Rowley, Alexzandra Sarmiento, Barnaby Thompson and Jason Winter.
The Jekyll and Hyde stream is part of the Your Old Vic initiative by the theatre which is described as their way of keeping connected to their audiences even while their building is closed. Audiences can visit the venue’s digital channels over the coming weeks to be entertained, educated, and inspired by different exciting content about the arts.
Another production of the Old Vic streaming this August is the play Three Kings starring Andrew Scott.
Jekyll and Hyde started streaming at The Old Vic’s YouTube channel on August 5 at 7pm UK time (August 6, 2am Manila time) and will remain available to watch for free until August 12 at 7pm UK time (August 13, 2am Manila time).
