Due to COVID-19, some shows announced cancellations.

The Philippine theater industry has been devastated by the COVID-19 outbreak. Shows have been cancelled or postponed left and right, in what was supposed to be one of the busiest months the local theater scene has ever had.

These following shows are officially cancelled. Please click on the shows’ respective links for further information about show refunds and possible rescheduling:

As of March 27, 2020:

  • Once a Panahon (The 9th Studios Creative Hub) postponed indefinitely

As of March 25, 2020:

As of March 22, 2020:

  • the remaining runs of Ateneo Entablado’s Macli-ing and Ateneo blueREP’s Next to Normal

As of March 20, 2020:

  • the entire run of Tanghalang Ateneo’s Top Girls

As of March 16, 2020:

  • the entire run of UA&P ViARE’s Rashomon

As of March 15, 2020:

As of March 14, 2020:

  • the entire run of Ballet Philippines’ Rama Hari

As of March 13, 2020:

  • Nana Rosa (UP Playwrights’ Theatre), March 19-22 shows postponed to indefinite dates in September
  • Lungs (The Sandbox Collective), March 20-22, 28-29
  • Every Brilliant Thing (The Sandbox Collective), March 21-22, 27-29 shows postponed indefinitely
  • entire run of Dula Salle 2k19:Bogus Pokus postponed indefinitely
  • I Never Saw Another Butterfly (The Ink Project MNL), April 4, 3pm and 7pm shows postponed indefinitely
  • Under My Skin (PETA), March 20-22 shows postponed indefinitely
  • Matilda (GMG Productions), March 13-22 shows
  • Carousel (REP), May 1-24 shows postponed to an indefinite date in July or August
  • the entire run of REP’s Anna in the Tropics
  • The Revolutionists Staged Reading (CAST PH), March 21, 8pm
  • Once a Panahon (The 9th Studios Creative Hub), all March shows (21-22, 28-29) moved to April 18 and 25 (3pm), 19 and 26 (8pm)
  • Enrico IV (Tanghalang Pilipino) March shows (20-21) postponed indefinitely
