Female Theater Directors Launch Online Philstage Roundtables

Female theater directors Maribel Legarda (Rak of Aegis, Care Divas; also PETA’s Artistic Director), Menchu Lauchengco-Yulo (Jekyll and Hyde, Little Women; also Full House Theater Company’s co-Artistic Director), Jose Estrella (UPPT’s Nana Rosa, DUP’s Faust), Missy Maramara (Ateneo blueREP’s Spring Awakening and Next to Normal), and Jenny Jamora (33 Variations, Every Brilliant Thing) are coming together for an online roundtable discussion this Saturday, April 4 at 4pm.

The discussion will be moderated by ANC’s Lexi Schulze. Viewers are encouraged to join in the discussion by throwing in questions. The roundtable will be streamed via Facebook Live through Philstage’s Facebook page.

Philstage is an organization of performing arts companies that exists to propagate, protect, and unite the professional Philippine performing arts industry.

This is the first of a number of roundtables that will be conducted during the lockdown period.
